Pallet-Track shareholder member transport company, CFT Services in Heywood Manchester, has expanded its vehicle fleet with the acquisition of five new 18-tonne Renault curtain-siders.

The Wolverhampton-based firm has ruled out entry to the European market for two years.

Wolverhampton-based Pallet-Track has ruled out entry into Europe for at least the next two years, says MD Nigel Parkes.   Parkes says Europe is under review, and while he will not rule out expansion two to three years down the line, it is not top of the agenda at present.

ALAN KNIGHT SWITCHES NETWORKS TO JOIN PALLET-TRACK

Our chosen charity for this year’s event was Promise Dreams, a Midlands based organisation dedicated to fulfilling the dreams of seriously and terminally ill children and their families. In April, the network introduced a telesales operation to support its Business Development Managers in the field. The team has proved so successful it will be extended in the coming months....

GOLF DAY 2009

Pallet-Track members raised more than £2,700 for Acorns Children’s Hospice, Birmingham at the network’s fourth annual charity golf day, held at Morley Hayes Golf Club, Derbyshire in May.
50 players took part in the event consisting of 12 teams of four and one team of two.

More than 46-companies were represented through over 200-guests at the glittering formal awards ceremony hosted by local ITV Central’s Llewela Bailey.

The Mayor of Wolverhampton the Right Worshipful Councillor Mrs Christine Mills officially opened the impressive Titan Distribution Centre in front of over 200 guests. The majority of guests were shareholder members, their customers and key suppliers to Pallet-Track the latter having worked closely to prepare the building in just under six-weeks to become fully operational on the 6th October.

Pallet-Track Ltd is delighted to announce their relocation to a high specification premises close to their existing site in the West Midlands. The new site in Wolverhampton is 267,300 sq. ft. (24,900 sq. m) and more than trebles the existing facility.

The transport industries major event of the year takes place on July 4th in the Great Room of the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.

An industry first... Pallet-Track creates the first safe viewing area for line-haul drivers

Pallet-Track is pleased to announce commencement of the first totally safe viewing environment for visiting line-haul drivers. After considerable investment in upgrading our CCTV technology we are now able to provide to drivers a split screen, 4 camera (per vehicle) viewing booth for them to supervise the loading of their vehicles.

New Proof of Delivery report goes live

Pallet-Track members can now benefit from accessing reports on POD's. An addition to our software now enables members to provide reports on all their consignments either in total or part (by customer). Service levels can be monitored and provided at a moments notice.

Second Annual Golf Day

PT held its second annual corporate golf day this year at the Morley Hayes Golf Club in Derbyshire on May 17th. Approaching nearly 80 keen golfers of varying ability enjoyed a full days golfing followed by and evening meal and prize giving.
