14 Apr 2015 Pallet-Track signs up Massey Wilcox
UK logistics network Pallet-Track has recruited another new member to join its ever-growing numbers; one of the longest standing pallet businesses in the UK, Massey Wilcox.
First established in 1954, the Bath-based organisation comprises a fleet of more than 60 vehicles and is an established member of the Transport Association.
Having been a member of rival distributor Pall-Ex for the past 17 years, Massey Wilcox will play a significant role in Pallet-Track’s 80 strong member network, covering Bath, Dorchester and the surrounding areas.
Robert Wilcox, managing director at Massey Wilcox, said: “I wanted the opportunity to be part of a member organisation which is not purely driven by numbers. We’re hoping that this partnership will allow us to build relationships with key customers in the area, retain more clients and provide us with the confidence to win new accounts.
“We look forward to what I’m sure will be a long and prosperous relationship with all members of the Pallet-Track team.”
2015 has already been an extremely successful year for Pallet-Track. As well as signing up four new members, the network has also begun to deliver outgoing consignments into Europe thanks to its partnership with Hellmann’s which launched last year.
The Wolverhampton-based enterprise has also been shortlisted for Business of the Year in the Express & Star Awards.
Nigel Parkes, founder and managing director at Pallet-Track, said: “We’re having a great year so far and the addition of members such as Massey Wilcox is exactly what we need to drive business forward and deliver customer satisfaction throughout the UK.”
“Massey Wilcox’s history speaks for itself and we look forward to working with an organisation which has been instrumental in the industry for more than 60 years.”
