Night Fork Lift Truck Drivers

Vacancies have arisen for Night Fork Lift Truck Drivers to be part of our expanding Night Operations Department. The successful candidates must have a proven track record within the Distribution Industry, preferably a Centralised Hub environment and hold a counterbalance licence with recent driving experience. All applicants must be prepared to work a permanent night shift.

Hours: Monday–Friday, between the hours of 6:00pm-7:00am

Salary: Starting Salary Package £22,674.60, rising to £24,107.20 after 12 months.

Personal Assistant to Managing Director

Pallet Track the market leader in the Overnight Pallet Distribution Industry.

A vacancy has arisen for a Personal Assistant to support the Managing Director.  The successful candidate must have experience of working with senior directors and have a minimum of 5 year’s experience in this field.  You will report directly to the Managing Director.

Key Accountabilities  

  • Diary, telephone and meetings management
  • Email and action requests
  • Travel arrangements
  • Hospitality for the Managing Director, his direct reports and all visitors
  • Organise and attend out of hours meetings as and when necessary
  • Collate and prepare Board packs each month
  • Note taking for the Board Meeting and any other meetings when required
  • Action points from Presentations/Meetings
  • Complete general administration duties for the Managing Director and his team of direct reports
  • Create Power Point presentations
  • Action and issue communication when requested
  •   Create relevant reports and information when required to present to the Managing Director
  • Assist with the development, management, implementation, monitoring and review of business compliance
  •    Liaise with external Marketing and Media companies 
  • Investigate and resolve sensitive issues in a timely manner
  • Oversee organisational projects to ensure deadlines are achieved
  • Organise and attend any annual company events
  • Action all directives given from the Managing Director as and when necessary

Skills and experience required

  • Excellent planning skills, prioritising your own workload in response to the needs of the Managing Director and his direct reports
  • Create synergy and harmonise with the Managing Directors work style
  • The ability to work on your own initiative and be proactive to the needs of the Managing Director
  • Have a positive, empathetic and customer focused approach to work
  • Be able to complete work to deadlines ensuring attention to detail always
  • The ability to work productively with the Managing Director ensuring an effective working relationship
  • Be able to identify what the Managing Director and his direct reports need from you
  • The ability to identify tasks that add value to the role of Personal Assistant
  • Confident and be able to effectively handle contacts at all levels within the Business, both internally and externally
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and body language skills
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft packages

This position always requires the person to exercise a high degree of discretion and confidentiality especially when dealing with privileged information and sensitive issues to safeguard the company’s interests. Due to the nature of the company you will be expected to attend off site meetings, this may require overnight stays.  

Onsite parking and Workplace pension after 3 months

Hours: Monday -Friday, Flexibility will be considered with hours for the right candidate although the successful candidate must be prepared to work full days for the monthly Board meetings.
